The condition of our terratory is a product of our Long historical relationships with the forest (Environment) creating what we know as ” CULTURAL LANDSCAPES ”. Originaly the tree-dominated landscape has other componenets that are important, such as forest provide grazing for domesticated and wild animals, fruits and berries from trees, brushwoods and shrubs, habitant for mammalle,birds,amphibians, and insects, protection for a sypply water , to make a short list.

Traditional knowledge Holders have a strong record of protecting and even enhancing the BIOVERSITY of their homeland. Woodlans and trees are traditionally usea and managed by local communities, that have an important effect of bioversity. Empowering local communities can support the retention and utilization of traditional knowledge.

In this era of increased concern about Sustainability and Sustainable Management of forest ecosystems traditional related knowledge has an increasing important role. 

In a result, scientists are increasingly interested in traditional forest related knowledge. Models have emerged to guide reasonable collaboration among scientists and traditional knowledge holders ( wisdom ). Such a collaboration is valuable for involving All local people.
